I have been so busy working, so I haven’t had much time to shoot, below is a collective of some shots taken over the last two weeks. I’m excited about the inspiration that Spring will bring with it, my soul needs to thaw a little.
I can’t imagine what it’s like to live in a really cold place, you have to have some seriously thick skin and not be prone to depression to survive. I am so ready for some t-shirts and jean shorts. Sometimes, when I’m getting dressed in the morning, I think that if I dress for Spring, then it will somehow be Spring when I step outside, but that never happens, I just end up cold all day with inappropriate footwear on.
I got so excited the other day when I noticed a tiny green bud coming from a tree in Washington Sq Park, and I realized that a beautiful thing about the changing seasons, is the change and beauty that a person feels when each season comes and when it ends. I never felt these emotions when I lived in Los Angeles.
Although, drinking a beer on the beach after a day of surfing in February probably distracted me a bit.

Katz’s Deli, LES. This guy was so adorable, I loved him. If only for that minute.
